Gun Totting Rapper Gets 60 Days In Jail

Rapper The Game gets 60 days in jail

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) --

A Los Angeles judge has sentenced the rapper known as The Game to 60 days in jail for having a gun in a school zone.

The
Game, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, also was ordered to complete
150 hours of community service and three years probation after he
pleaded no contest to the felony charge, TMZ.com said Monday.

The
charge stems from a February 2007 incident in which Taylor allegedly
pulled a gun and threatened a player from an opposing team during a
pick-up basketball game at a school in South Los Angeles.

Taylor,
28, also had faced three felony counts for making criminal threats and
exhibiting a firearm in the presence of a peace officer, but two counts
were tossed out as part of his plea agreement, TMZ.com said.

The rapper must surrender by March 3 to begin his sentence.
